Notes to Editors & Journalists
The Unique Home Stays collection features extraordinary private house accommodation suitable for discerning guests looking for a special and unique place to stay.
Our select property portfolio ranges from unique properties and romantic hideaways to 'exclusive' stately homes that exude a classic tone with a modern edge. Our fresh approach to providing 'luxury private house accommodation' is our hallmark that makes us stand out from other accommodation providers. What we offer is ‘Classic Chic’ accommodation in hand-selected private houses.
A selection of high-resolution, high quality images are available (free) directly from UHS, so don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to provide you with any more information/inspiration for relevant features, and you will also find (click on the left) a bank of recent press releases and feature ideas to suit different media. Unique Home Stays are currently developing the facilities for journalists to access and download information and images directly from our website.
We are happy to arrange for select, commissioned journalists to stay in and experience Unique Home Stays first hand. We do ask that you mention Unique Home Stays in any features that are published as a result.

The lowdown: Launched in 2001, Unique Home Stays offers the crème de la crème of privately hosted accommodation that offers a unique alternative to run-of-the mill hotels. Having travelled the world, MD Sarah Stanley knew what she expected from top quality accommodation: Intimate and luxury hospitality, pristine homes oozing with character, excellent regional cuisine and smart bedrooms with all the trimmings. Today Unique Home Stays offers superior houses in over 100 homes scattered over 14 different countries. The properties include castles, priories, rectories, windmills, water mills, lighthouses, coastal homes and even a house in the sea.
