With one hut for sleeping and pampering, the other for cooking and socialising- The Limit offers truly unique luxury self-catering just a hop, skip and a jump from Holywell Bay. The whitewashed clapperboard walls retain the classic beach hut feel, whilst a well-equipped kitchen and plush bathroom fittings ensure this hideaway is less shabby-chic, more boutique.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The king-size bedroom has an en suite bathroom and skylight windows, perfect for enjoying watching the clouds pass dreamily by overhead. The floor-to-ceiling window affords you the luxury of viewing the golf course, the golden sand dunes beyond, and the sea horizon from the vantage point of your marshmallow bed. The roomy walk-in shower, a complementary pack of deluxe bathing products and fluffy towels ensure a gorgeous pampering experience. Natural stone tiling throughout makes it the perfect place to wash sandy toes after a day bare foot at the nearby beach.
Set in two acres of wild grounds alongside the giant rhubarb, The Limit has outdoor space a-plenty. The spacious decking area is perfect for BBQs or romantic sundowners; pick your perfect sunbathing spot from the leafy picnic area at the bottom of the steps, or the suntrap lawn to the back of the shack. With dog-friendly beaches Holywell, Crantock and Polly Joke close by, don't leave your furry friend at home! Film fanatics and Bond Girl wannabes might be interested to know the opening scene to Die Another Day was filmed on Holywell Bay.
Sit out on the deck with a glass of something cold and enjoy breath-taking sundowners. Stroll through the dunes towards the beach and enjoy the sea breeze on your face and the peaceful crashing of the waves. FOOD AND DRINK
The cosy well equipped kitchen joins the open plan dining and lounging areas meaning budding chefs can be kept company whilst preparing a romantic meal for two. The spacious decking area is perfect for barbecues or romantic evenings spent watching the Cornish sunset.
If you'd rather spend your self-catering break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your loved one (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).
There are a couple of delightful pubs in Holywell Bay within walking distance of The Limit; alternatively, head to nearby Padstow, Newquay or Truro to experience a wide range of eateries. Odds Restaurant in nearby Cubert offers a fine dining experience 'from farm to table' with spectacular views out over the sand dunes to the Atlantic beyond.
