Get ready to be inspired by the stylish and characterful cottage with special touches abound at this boutique love nest in the heart of Mousehole. From the goosedown pillows and crispest of quality linens, to the deep slipper bath crying out for some bubbles; life at The Old Pilchard Press is tailored to relaxation and comfort. Driftwood trinkets, lovingly restored naval artefacts and calming blues and whites all contribute to the cheery coastal flavour evident throughout.     

• Style: A nautical flavour with characterful cottage charm
• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: The king-sized bedroom sits alongside the living room on the first floor, whilst the large bathroom occupies the ground floor with its deep Albion bath tub and separate shower wet room.
• For relaxation: In winter months what could be better than squirrelling yourselves away with some delicious home cooking and the pleasure of each other's company cosied up in front of the woodburner. Round the evening off deliciously with a bottle of fizz and a saucy bubble bath for two! 
• Practicalities: The delightfully crookedy stone steps leading into the cottage may prove difficult to negotiate in wet weather, we advise using the downstairs front door entrance instead.  There is a public long stay parking area 2 minutes walk from the property - parking charges are paid for by the owner from April to Oct, and an honesty box is in operation the remainder of the time.

Outside

Peacefully tucked away in a private square just a stone's throw from the harbour, The Old Pilchard Press is a little haven in the centre of Mousehole. The courtyard garden out back is a pretty spot for sundowners and that well-deserved G&T at the end of the day, whilst the area to the front of the cottage is a great place to greet passers by on the way to collect the morning papers.
