Sophistication and understated elegance reign at this lovingly restored grade II-listed Elizabethan country manor house in Chester. Rowton Manor boasts far-reaching views across the rolling Cheshire countryside towards Snowdonia and beyond. This 'bite-sized' country pile is perfectly suited for those smaller self-catering groups longing to experience the grandeur of a thoughtfully restored country manor.
The careful attention to detail and luxurious finishings throughout marry beautifully with the period features which have been carefully restored and preserved at Rowton Manor. Every whim is catered for with mod cons and decadent furnishings throughout. The combination of traditional English and French oak panelling in the formal living areas, juxtaposed with stylish sophistication in the en suite bedrooms, has brought about a unique and noteworthy self-catering home stay.

Opportunities abound for al fresco dining and leisurely country pursuits.
Take some time out and retire to the first floor drawing room with a well-thumbed book; this thematic room also has a smaller dining table perfect for intimate dinners. Take a stroll through the romantic gardens and imagine yourself immersed in a Bronte novel, or tinkle the ivories in the music room.
