With enviable views over Whitsands Bay, Breakers is the epitome of a romantic coastal self-catering hideaway boasting a truly enviable cliff-side setting in Cornwall. Whether enjoying a sundowner on the deck or reclining fireside, this is an idyllic property for all seasons. Enjoy long hazy sun-drenched afternoons on the beach before returning to your clifftop haven for a romantic BBQ for two and sizzle up the freshest catch of the day!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
If ever an excuse was needed to enjoy breakfast in your luxury king-size bed, then this view is it! Fall asleep to the sound of the breakers and awake well-rested after a deep sea air-induced slumber. Cool blues and stony greys combine to create beach hut-style décor inspired by the setting. Recline in style in the bathroom where a double-ended bath is made for sharing, with a shower over for an invigorating start to the day.
You'll be spoiled for choice with two decks to choose from; enjoy an al fresco supper on the front deck which leads out from the sitting room, or for a little more luxurious privacy there’s a deck complete with hammocks to the side of Breakers, perfect for book reading and whiling away sunny afternoons.
It’s all about the view in the light and airy sitting room; you’ll find the ever-changing vistas mesmeric. On fine days, open the bi-fold doors to create an expansive indoor/outdoor space, and on clear winter nights make the most of the stargazing opportunities across the bay. Turn up the gas fire and enjoy dramatic storm-watching vistas from your bird’s eye vantage point.
There is room for one car in the allocated parking space on top of the cliff. Please note that the property is a steep uneven walk down from the car parking space. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The washer/dryer is in the bathroom. The second set of bi-fold doors are locked in winter months and only available in summer.

Settings as special as this one are hard to come by. Perched cliffside and surrounded by sea views, the views are amazing and ever-changing. A truly romantic self-catering hideaway for a break you´ll never forget!
FOOD AND DRINK
The perfect space in which to create romantic picnic lunches as candlelit dinners for two, be inspired by the wealth of local produce available and get creative in the well-equipped kitchen.
If you'd rather spend your break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).
With such a mesmeric view you might not want to dine out too much, but you have got a great selection of places to indulge locally. Just a 30 minute stroll away is The View restaurant where you can enjoy exquisite seafood dishes. For traditional pub food visit the Finnygook Inn in Crafthole, whilst slightly further afield the Couch’s Great House restaurant Polperro is well worth a visit.
