Ever dreamt of your own private cliff top retreat complete with bubbly hot tub and never-ending views out across Barbadian blue waters? Daydreamer offers just that and so much more. Blissfully set on Freathy cliff in 'Cornwall's forgotten corner', this luxury self-catering beach hut is as seaside chic as they come.
Once home to a Sea Captain and lovingly passed down through his family for many decades, the newest generation have opened the doors of this luxury self-catering beach hut to offer others a slice of their seaside sanctuary. Daydreamer is sublimely set on Freathy cliff, one of Cornwall’s lesser known holiday destinations, with unspoilt ocean views as far as the eye can see. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows blur the boundary between inside and out, filling the living area with natural light and giving the feel of a blue sky summer zephyr all year round.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The wraparound glass front and elevated position give this spacious beach hut a plush penthouse feel. Step down into the double bedroom and be tempted into the cloudlike bed scattered with fluffy pillows and patterned throws. Next door sits the en suite shower room complete with WC, basin and heated shower rail; a perfect place for post-beach pampering.
Atlantic winds bring changeable weathers, so when azure views turn to moody skies you are in for a treat. There’s nothing quite like storm watching from the steaming hot tub under a canopy of stars. Sipping on a flute of Cornish fizz and feeling the salt spray on your face will lift you onto cloud nine. A beach hut holiday hot spot for years, Whitsand Bay has lost none of its vibrancy. The three mile expanse of golden beach is certainly spectacular, but the real treasures lie in the hidden gem coves dotted all around. Scamper down to Sharrow Beach or Polhawn Cove for a sundown skinny dip and beach fire – don’t forget your marshmallows!
Lovers will relish lazy mornings entwined between the sheets gazing out to the shimmering blue ocean. Watch white sails glide past in the distance and clean lines of surf roll in to the shore. Afternoons are best spent tucking into cream teas and ambling around one of the stately homes nearby. Lanhydrock is a fine example of a Victorian country house, whilst the gardens of Antony are sure to capture the imagination, used by Tim Burton as a film location for Alice in Wonderland.
Guests can drop luggage outside, the carpark is an easy three minute walk away. This deluxe beach hut is well-equipped with a fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine and electric oven with grill and hob. There is an outside hut with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Style: The maritime chic interiors mirror the ever-changing seascape. White clapboard walls play host to French-inspired furnishings giving a nonchalant, boutique-style spin on traditional nautical interiors.
Property Owner Jane says
As you step into the main living area, the vista of the sea stretching the total panoramic concourse of this majestic coastline from Looe Island to Rame Head gives you both morning sun and amazing sunsets. It´s during the winter months when I find these views most spectacular and invigorating.

FOOD AND DRINK
The open plan kitchen basks in a refreshing blue light reflected off the sea and makes cooking an absolute breeze. There's no place like Cornwall when it comes to clean seas, fertile land and passionate farmers, making some of the freshest produce you'll find anywhere in the UK. Cooking up the catch of the day on the barbecue with a bottle of Cornish fizz is the perfect accompaniment to a spectacular sunset.
If you'd rather spend your self-catering break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your partner (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).
The View at Whitsand Bay is exactly that; a cliff top restaurant overlooking the bay serving up creative seafood. It comes recommended by BBC Countryfile, The Observer and The Times, who listed it within their Top 30 Sexy places to Eat! After an afternoon's windswept walk across the beach you can't beat a hot paper parcel of Posh Nosh's fish and chips and an ice cold Cornish cider.
