The Property

Truly get away from it all at the Beach Hut in north Cornwall. You can’t get any closer to the elements than this clapperboard hut on the North Cornish coast.
Inside
- Style: Simple seaside chic. Stripped floorboards, white walls and simple furnishings make this the perfect bolt hole, whatever the weather.
- Bedroom and Bathroom: The Beach Hut is one large open plan room, with the king size double bed at the far end and a separate small wet room with shower sink and toilet.
- For relaxation: Light the wood burner (logs supplied), and enjoy a dinner by candlelight; or head outside and stargaze from the deck. You can also book a session of reflexology, aromatherapy or Indian head massage.
- For recreation: Don you're walking boots and explore the stunning cliff walks from your front door. Alternatively, simply recline on the deck and watch the surf.
- Practicalities: It’s back to hand-washing your clothes when you stay at the Beach Hut, as there’s no washing machine here! Log burner and electric heating. Off-road parking for 1 car.
Outside
There is a private driveway leading to the property. The Beach Hut sits on a grassy knoll up from a quiet road. If the surf is pumping the beach can get quite busy with both surfers and spectators gathering to watch and participate. Generally, there is a public footpath to the beach, located near the property, which is popular with walkers.

DIY: Taken on a self-catered basis, the kitchen area might be small but you’ve got the basics - there’s a fridge, cooker and sink at the property. Enjoy a romantic dinner at the deluxe dining table that overlooks the pebble beach. Enhance your self-catered stay by adding bubbles and chocolates, a cream tea or fresh picnic from Unique Boutique.

- Eating out: You probably won’t want to leave the Beach Hut behind once you’re there, but if you do want a change of scenery, there’s a really great fish restaurant Life's a Beach which overlooks Summerleaze Beach in Bude while The Bay View Inn at Widemouth Bay is a good pub in a great location.

Surfing at The Beach Hut is not for beginners! This is the home wave of the current UK and European Surf champions; but if you’re not a pro, you can at least get to enjoy the view from your deck vantage point. Up the coast at Widemouth Bay you'll find a nice sandy beach break with friendly lifeguards.
- Art: Unleash the artist within you...and take up an inspirational art course under the wing of renowned Trompe L'oeil artist Janet Shearer.

Golf: There's a golf course in the centre of Bude, there's also a 9-hole golf course at Ivy Leaf, which is on the way to Kilkhampton - approx. 3 miles from the property.
