Inside

Take a break at this large traditional country manor house close to Newquay and Watergate bay - The perfect base for a Cornish adventure.

• Style: Traditional features blend with more contemporary stylish design. Choose from formal dining and sitting areas to the cosy den and characterful kitchen.
• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: A splendid collection of eight bedrooms with traditional sash windows, looking out over the rural views beyond. Choose from six doubles, one of which is a four-poster bed, two twin (zip/link) bedrooms (one with an en suite shower room) and a smaller single bed. Each is sensitively furnished and decorated, some with original fireplaces. The house has two contemporary family bathrooms, both with large power showers and deep baths. Sink into the tub and enjoy the rural views. Downstairs there's a large walk-in shower perfect for a de-sand after a day on the beach. • For relaxation: Bury your head in a book in the sunny reading room or enjoy relaxed dining around the chunky kitchen table (seats approx 8). For more formal dining there is a welcoming dining room which can sit up to 17 guests.
• For recreation: Head to the beach, stroll the grounds or set up camp in the garden look out.
• Practicalities: Dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer, double fridge freezer, gas powered Aga, Large Halogen Oven, boot room. Parking for up to 6 cars on the driveway.

Outside

Lush green lawns and age-old trees surround Rosewastis Manor. Hydrangeas bloom in the summer against the leafy backdrop. Choose from bench style seating at the rear of the house or the soft seating that can be moved to follow the sun!

Please note that during the winter months the road is more visible from the house, although set back across the large garden there is some road noise from one side of the house. During the summer months the leafy trees obstruct the road.

Food and Wine

• DIY: Taken on a self catered basis. The real hub to the house is by far the traditional style kitchen complete with shiny cream Aga and oversized church pew seating. The original Cornish clome oven can still be seen and the deep window seat is a great spot sit and chat. Just off the kitchen is the practical space where ample storage and preparation areas allow for family size catering. Enhance your self-catered stay by adding bubbles and chocolates, a cream tea or fresh picnic from Unique Boutique.
• In-house cuisine: We are able to provide you with contacts for recommended caterers on request. Franckly Delicious comes tested and highly recommended www.francklydelicious.co.uk for in house fine dining.
• Eating out: From the world class eateries of Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver (a short drive from the house), to harbour-side fish and chips; Cornwall really does offer it all.
