A large family Pavilion style holiday home in an enviable coastal position in north Cornwall.

• Style: Fresh pastel clad walls, stripped wooden flooring and a welcoming beach chic feel. The house is spacious and brimming with natural light from the panoramic windows. The kitsch artwork and ornamental features add real charm to this idyllic beach house.
• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: All of the bedrooms sit off the main corridor to the house - choose from three spacious doubles, one of which can be converted into a twin, 3 twin rooms, a child's room with 2 sets of bunk beds, and a further smaller single with a cot. The rooms look out to the coastal vistas beyond, each a cosy haven to retire from the day's excursions.There are two large family bathrooms with baths and a well placed shower room, as well as two separate WCs.
• For relaxation: Relax in the shade of the pavilion and soak up coastal living. Family and friends alike will settle into the Northcott way of life with ease - think sunny beaching, smiling faces and happy days!
• For recreation: A short stroll from the house and your playground awaits; hit the waves, hunt the rock pools and challenge your family to a sandcastle competition. The large grass area surrounding the house is perfect for football, boules, croquet or even kite flying.
• Practicalities: Separate laundry area with washing machine and dryer, wetsuit and surfboard storage, outside hot shower and taps, outside toilet, dishwasher. There is enough space for six cars to park and trailers are easily housed. Daily housekeeping can be arranged if required - please ask prior to arrival (additional charges will apply).

Outside

On your approach to Northcott House you instantly get a real sense of seclusion and space. The house sits alone on the cliff edge (fenced off) in an enviable location for breathtaking coastal and sea views. There's an ample grass area allowing all the gang to spread out. The front porch offers welcome shade for quiet reading or group gatherings.

Food and Wine

• DIY: Available on a self-catered basis. The well equipped kitchen is geared up for catering for large groups and there is an electric oven in addition to the AGA. Enhance your self-catered stay by adding bubbles and chocolates, a cream tea or fresh picnic from Unique Boutique.
• In-house cuisine: Catering is available at an additional cost and is to be arranged direct with the caterers. We are able to provide you with contacts for recommended caterers on request.
• Eating out: Life's a Beach in Bude (10 minute walk) is well worth a visit for fresh local fare overlooking the sea. Many lovely pubs and restaurants are dotted along the coastline - you will be spoilt for choice!

Getting there

• On the map: Situated at Northcott Mouth just north of Bude.
• By Car: Approx 4.5 hours from London, 1.5 hours from Exeter.
• By Train: The nearest train station to the property is Exeter, which is around an hour and a half from the house.
• By Air: Newquay Airport is around an hour from the property.

• Discover the sandy beaches of north Cornwall, including Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay.
• Head inland for a day on the moors. Dartmoor offers a host of activities from gorge walking to rock climbing.
