Introduction
Rose Cottage is set in the beautiful Cornish village of St Mawgan in a peaceful valley location within five minutes of Watergate Bay and the dramatic North Cornwall coastline. A charming Cornish village cottage oozing with olde worlde magic, and offering a warm welcome for all the family. The beautiful private garden is complete with a heated summerhouse offering opportunities to dine amidst the greenery whatever the weather.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Rose Cottage has three upstairs bedrooms; a twin, a standard double, and a super king room. Comfortable mattresses, crisp linens and muted hues ensure a comfortable night's slumber in this peaceful village location. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, whilst downstairs there's a shower room just perfect for washing sandy toes after a day at the beach.
Outside
In the outhouse you’ll find everything from a selection of body boards to a paddling pool for use during your stay. The beautiful and private flower-filled garden is idyllic for a spring/summer BBQ as for autumn dining; the heated summerhouse, just a few steps from the back door, is an alternative dining area for dining with a difference!
For Relaxation
Head to the sitting room where you can sink into a sumptuous sofa with a good book, or relax fireside and enjoy some quality family time getting stuck in to your favourite board games for some traditional family fun. This beautiful family home is just a few minutes walk to St. Mawgan village pub, where hearty fare and a warm welcome is served daily.
Practicalities
There is on-road parking adjacent to Rose Cottage for up to two cars. The utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, whilst the kitchen has a dishwasher and a microwave for guests' convenience. There is a computer with free broadband and printer for guest's use in the study. Please note that there will be an additional charge of £50 for infants (under 2 years old only) when selecting the smaller group option. Mobile reception can sometimes be patchy.
