Be it a river cottage hideaway for two or a family homestay for some well overdue time out, you couldn't ask for a more idyllic abode. Waters Reach holiday cottage really is one of the most beautiful river retreats in Cornwall, combining luxury living with cottage comforts.

• Style: Coastal cottage chic. Warm muted coloured walls blend with fresh nautical sumptuous fabrics. Spacious living spaces are adorned with bespoke river inspired artwork and gorgeous antiques and local finds.
• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Choose from four beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master suite with unsurpassed river views offers a superking double (ziplinked). A further superking double again can be made into a twin. There's also a three-bedded room (ideal for children) with single beds and a lovely river-facing twin. Both of the double rooms are complimented by spacious luxury bathrooms with baths and showers (one walk in and one handheld). A large family bathroom with bath and shower can be shared, as well as a heated outdoor shower. 
• For relaxation: For the best seat in the house, grab a morning coffee and one of the first edition Du Maurier books, sit back and enjoy the tranquillity and river life from your private decking area. As the summer sun retires, enjoy a cosy fireside stay.
• For recreation: Dig into the chest of board games in the snug or pop on a favourite film, skip over the stepping stones at low tide and explore the river banks beyond. From woodland walks to village life, Lerryn offers something for everyone.

Outside

A lovely established steep terraced garden leads up from the rear of Waters Reach offering well placed seating areas along the way. Follow the steps right to the top for a breathtaking vista of the river and village beyond. Spill from the kitchen and sitting room onto the white washed decking area stretching the length of Waters Reach, a perfect vantage spot for some al fresco dining in style! Below a small grassed lawn sits alongside the drive before joining the riverbank. As the house is located on the banks of a tidal river, sometimes access can be hindered (only by a few hours at most until the tide goes out) so please check tide times before arrival. 

Food and Wine

• DIY: Available on a self-catered basis. Throw on your apron and get creative in the beautiful country kitchen, a real hub of the house. Indulge in the freshest of Cornish fare from fish hauled at nearby Fowey to cheeses and pickles from the mouthwatering Bella Mama deli in Lostwithiel. A well equipped kitchen complete with an Aga. Enhance your self-catered stay by adding bubbles and chocolates, a cream tea or fresh picnic from Unique Boutique.
• In-house cuisine: If getting away from it all means leaving the cook books at home, enjoy the luxury of having your fridge filled to the brim with delicious meals or enjoy the culinary creativity of a private chef for your stay. Catering is available at an additional cost and is to be arranged direct with the caterers. We are able to provide you with contacts for recommended caterers on request.
• Eating out: With Cornwall fast becoming a mecca of fine dining, the South Coast is no exception. Head just a short drive to the riverside town of Lostwithiel to explore the various eateries including Trewithan Restaurant. From something a little closer to home, stroll over the bridge to the local Ship Inn for some Lerryn life and good pub grub.
• The Wine: From the local St Austell brewery ales to the much acclaimed Camel Valley wines, Cornwall boasts an array of local brews to tempt.
