• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Two sunny spacious bedrooms, both en suite. The double bedroom is adorned with pretty French-inspired linens; fling open the double doors to welcome the countryside in. The generous twin room with wooden floors, cladded walls and lovely linens is as perfect for children or adults alike. The double has an en suite shower room, whilst the twin has an en suite corner bath with shower over.
• For relaxation: Sit a while and take in the sights and sounds of the Helford river or demonstrate your culinary skills in the kitchen with the traditional Aga. The owners are a wealth of knowledge in terms of where to find locally-sourced produce including the catch of the day from their own fishing boat! Explore the surrounding rich woodland and 1000-acre estate in which the property is nestled.
• Practicalities: There is a wood burner for your comfort. An outside utility room with washer and dryer is also available. Ample off-road parking for 2 cars. NB: The approach to the property is what we lovingly refer to as an ‘unmade lane’ and may prove bumpy and difficult for low-slung cars.
  Please note: When the river runs high, it may prove difficult to drive through the ford to park right next to the property, but alternative close by parking will be available.

Approaching Clapper Bridge Cottage through winding country lanes and over a characterful clapper bridge, you find yourself in a haven of blissfully serene countryside. The private garden, skirted by a meandering river and a large decking area with riverside seating, is the perfect place for lazing away a summer's afternoon - dip your toes in the stream for an instant cool-down! A very special woodland hideaway for families and couples alike.
