This unique modern home, available for commercial hire, sits right on the cliffs above Mawgan Porth beach on Cornwall’s craggy north coast. All-encompassing sea views are the main event here, but a collection of repurposed furnishings dotted throughout (the huge mirror recovered from old railway signals in the open plan living area being the most impressive) bring character and soul to this architect-designed dwelling by the sea. Whether a serene summer's day or with salty winds whipping the windows, time spent within The Looking Glass seamlessly merges with the elements, offering a bright and vast space filled with natural light.
Spaces
There are certainly no lacking in spaces for models to recline or jewellery to shine at this unique photoshoot location in North Cornwall, and whether the chosen spot to showcase bespoke bridal couture or to host an in-depth interview, a stunning backdrop is guaranteed. Clean lines and brilliant whites stand against exposed Cornish stone and rustic wood throughout the sweeping living area, while the three bedrooms (all with sea views) offer more private, intimate spaces to shoot (or stay!) in. Outside, the undulating garden, which feels as though it could roll over the cliff and plunge into the sea, is flanked by Cornish hedging and planted with succulents, with impressive views spreading south towards Watergate Bay and beyond.
