Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Two beautifully-appointed ground floor double rooms (one with en suite shower) flaunt king-size beds luxuriously swathed in ultra soft linens. The wood-panelled bathroom has a deep stand-alone claw foot tub with hand-held shower, and the en suite has a walk-in shower, perfect for washing sandy toes after a day at the beach.


A cobbled shared courtyard garden, tucked away from the madding crowd, is filled to bursting with roses and blooms, perfect for alfresco dining in the mild Cornish climate. The wraparound veranda is approached by the kitchen and is chock-full of leafy foliage ensuring guests have a spot to daydream and to breath in the fresh salty air - a welcoming tonic for weary souls.

For Relaxation

Step outside the front door of your luxury holiday cottage and take a mosey around the characterful harbour town of Mousehole. Or if you can't bear to leave the peaceful haven of your home stay, retreat to the courtyard garden and spend an afternoon soaking in the Cornish sunshine with the gentle sound of the waves on the shore providing the hypnotic soundtrack to your day.


There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility area. Guests can park in the harbour car park (£3 per day). There is no cot or highchair at the property. The garden is shared with The Herringbone.

Don't Forget the Walking Boots! There are many beautiful places to explore on foot from the doorstep of The Oyster Catcher, the Pilgrim's Way, and the Cornish Coastal Path will delight rambler's of all levels.

The stylish first floor kitchen is well-equipped with range cooker, Smeg fridge/freezer, coffee machine and pots and pans a-plenty. The rustic-style table with reclaimed bench makes for a social relaxed dining space for intimate suppers. Stroll out to the harbour-front where the fishing boats land, and select the day's freshest catch before returning to self-cater in your private abode to create lip-smacking menus using the finest local fare.

If you'd rather spend your break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your party (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).  

Eating Out

The harbour town of Mousehole has a good selection of fine restaurants to choose from; 2 Fore Street, The Rock Pool cafe and The Old Coastguard Hotel all come highly recommended. A trip to Mousehole is not complete without enjoying fish n' chips straight out of the bag on the harbour...!
