Whether you are here to surf the amazing breaks or walk the breath-taking cliff paths, Sennen Cove is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt corners of the UK.
Sennen Cove in West Cornwall When ‘down West’, as the locals say, you can experience and wild and dramatic Cornwall which harks back to simpler times of yesteryear. Sennen Cove and neighbouring Gwenver Beach are tucked just around the corner from Land’s End (the UK’s most westerly spot) and are some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. Sennen retains an atmosphere of an old fishing village with a small working harbour and a sprinkling of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Attractions to Enjoy Whilst Holidaying in the Wild West of Cornwall Sennen Cove is not far from the Minack Theatre; an open-air theatre set in the cliffs overlooking the spectacular panorama of Porthcurno Bay. Enjoy a show under the stars with a picnic and glass of fizz (but don’t forget a blanket and a cushion as the rocky outcrop is not as comfortable as the traditional theatre seats to which you may be more accustomed!). Kynance Cove is on the eastern side of Mount’s Bay and just a short drive (or enjoyable morning’s stroll) from Sennen Cove. Kynance Cove is a designated Are of Outstanding Beauty and you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve arrived in a tropical beach location with its azure seas, blue skies and blaze of bright pink flowers decorating the clifftops. Absolutelystunning. Lizard Point with its lighthouse (which has been there since 1751) is the most southerly point in the UK and not far from Sennen Cove.
