Property Owner Consultant

The Role

The busy Portfolio Team are on the search for a part-time Property Owner Consultant to work within our friendly team based near Newquay, Cornwall. This integral role will be challenging and rewarding, with room to grow for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and building strong relationships with owners in addition to analysing data and developing appropriate action plans for their own portfolio of properties.

The Person

You will be confident and personable with a positive can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will be quick to learn and keen to develop their practice, as well as possessing a genuine interest in providing high levels of customer service. Experience in account management will give you a strong advantage and candidates should have an interest in luxury travel and property.

Qualities

In addition to the normal expectation of the usual office skills such as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and email systems, you will also be able to show us that you are a people person with first-class social skills. You will possess a high standard of written and verbal communication with strong numeracy skills; an understanding of business practice and finance would be a strong asset. The perfect candidate will demonstrate an industrious nature; with the ability to work independently and efficiently to prioritise their workload and produce results for deadlines.

Main Tasks

In this role you will be part of a small internal team and report to the Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate will have a portfolio of properties which they will assess, review, and develop; liaising with owners to maximise property success through strong working relationships. Day to day activities will include record keeping, tariff management, assessing feedback, email correspondence, answering queries and developing action plans. There may be an occasional requirement for UK travel and visits to specific properties, with further potential to attend owner events and develop external relationships of benefit to owners.

  • 16-20 hours a week
  • Salary is pro-rata
