We travel to escape. To escape the emails and pinging notifications, the choking traffic and being home too late to read goodnight stories to the children. We journey by trains, planes and automobiles to be slow and to stop, to reconnect with family, friends and the great outdoors, to restore within us what is caged by working hours and seemingly never-ending commitments. Today we bring you a home where one goes to pause, where there is entertainment and relaxation and nature en masse all spread across 11 acres of rural Somerset bliss. At Viola one arrives and the world stops just for a moment and when we (reluctantly) leave, we return more ourselves than ever before.

After years of sailing the seven seas on a catamaran with the family in tow, Viola was the only welcome back to dry land that could possibly satisfy that roaming itch. Between the rolling hills of bucolic Somerset, just a stone’s throw from Glastonbury, lies this home of two wildly different personalities. A Jekyll and Hyde of elegance and chinking chandeliers on one side, and a dark, heart-racing cave where escapism is the name of the game on the other, Viola is an escape which will satisfy all. With a heated outdoor swimming pool, two Formula 1 racing simulators, laser tag, a fishing lake, tennis court and hot tub; this home is hedonism embodied.
