Unique Homestays

As the warmth and excitement of the British summertime firmly arrives we reflect on the past three months, which saw quarter two (Q2) close having secured 76% occupancy (thatís just shy of 12,000 nights booked) across the portfolio, a solid 10% increase on occupancy and 30% increase on nights booked against Q2 performance pre-pandemic.

While the international traveller contends with ongoing flight cancellations, hours-long waits and airport queues, Unique Homestays have highlighted the options available to discerning holiday makers closer to home resulting in particularly strong performances in April and June with last minute bookings driving remaining occupancy across these months.

With 1.7m page views on the website in Q2, our Grand Gatherings collection takes top spot with Last Minute Breaks, New and Coming Soon and Dog-Friendly Escapes following close behind.  Properties securing the highest page views this quarter include The Crafterís Hut, The Edge, Bellatrix and Castle India; showing that coastal homes and swimming pools remain as sought-after as ever as temperatures rise.

Following the success of our Britain in Wonderland creative campaign, we once again worked with content creator Rosie Hardy to capture the imagination in a surreal take on holidaying across the British Isles. The new collection of images have been used in advertising across our digital marketing platforms to drive spring and summer bookings.  Thank you to Atelier Rose and The Palladian for taking part. We also joined forces with Twig Studios and Zanna van Dijk who visited The Lost Music Hall and Little Red Lock generating content for the website.  As always, do let us know if you'd like to be considered for similar upcoming opportunities.
