Built in 1852 as a rectory in the Gothic style, Ember fuses historic grandeur with modern, family-focused design. When its current owners arrived, the house was a flicker of its former flame; every corner then stoked back to brilliance over a three-year renovation. Now, honeyed, earthy interiors evoke warmth; and an indoor pool, hot tub, gym, games room and gardens encourage play or pause amidst the rolling Wiltshire countryside.
