In 2025, we are proud to support Lendwithcare and Children’s Hospice South West, two causes that embody what we value: entrepreneurship and family.

Lendwithcare is an initiative of CARE International UK, providing life-changing opportunities for people in low-income countries. By offering loans, they help individuals launch or grow their small business ventures, enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods. This programme resonates with our founder, Sarah Stanley, who began Unique Homestays as a single mother with a modest loan. We will be donating £1 per booking.

Our team have also voted to partner with a charity dedicated to providing care for babies, children, and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families. Children’s Hospice South West provides services such as therapies, end-of-life support, and memory-making activities. Eddie Farwell, who founded CHSW with his late wife Jill, passed away this March in what is the 30th anniversary year of the charity’s first hospice. To support their next chapter, our team is fundraising (starting with Newquay’s Rainbow Run, to which you can contribute below) and encouraging guests to donate at checkout.
