This modern Somerset home takes its cues from the values of its wildlife conservationist owners. Designed with Passivhaus principles for a low environmental footprint, its predominantly glazed interiors are filled with contemporary art and expansive spaces closely connected to the landscape. Outside, topiary animals play to the concept of the house as a modern-day ark – objects to marvel at from the sauna or plunge pool.
