Owner chronicles: A fairytale of their own

 

Amidst 200 acres of Shropshire woodland resides a pink cottage seemingly lifted from folklore. In this owner chronicle, Eliza, Viscountess Newport, tells us how she transformed a long-forgotten space into a living fairytale. Originally built in 1886, Charlotte's Folly is part of the Bradford Estate, which has been owned by her husband’s family for over a thousand years. Working in collaboration with interior designer Emma Ainscough, the couple have created a unique home full of magic, beauty and wonder.
