On Your Bike!  Discover the endless cycle paths around Killarney National Park; this is a cyclists' paradise with paths past spectacular lakes and breathtaking vistas. Attractions include Ross Castle, Muckross House and Dinis Cottage (a tea room which has been open for over 200 years) perfect for a pit stop! Bicycles are available from O'Sullivan Cycles.

Skellig Islands  A visit to the Skellig islands will be the perfect outing for history fanatics and architecture enthusiasts wanting to find out more about the Skellig monks. The Visitor Centre will reveal all about their lives and how they managed to gain a foothold on the tiny, inhospitable island. 

Fancy A Challenge?  Skellig Micheal is a World Heritage Site, a wilderness site and a designated Nature Reserve - a must visit! Those physically fit and up for a challenge will have to reserve a spot on the boat and then scale the 618 steps to the monastery ascending over 600ft. Reaching the top will leave you with a great sense of achievement and memories to last a lifetime. 

Surf's Up  With a selection of beautiful beaches just a short drive away, don’t miss the opportunity to grab a board and hit the waves. Inch and Banna beach has an excellent surf school, with all the equipment ready to go along with knowledgeable surf instructors. 

Sweet Tooth  Skellig Chocolate Factory is Ireland's only open-plan chocolate factory. The factory overlooks Skellig Michael, which was used as a backdrop in the lastest Star Wars film - The Force Awakens. They produce award-winning chocolate which you can watch being made and even try. They have a super cafe too, serving their famous hot chocolates which is a must for any visitor. 

Horse Riding  Rossbeigh Beach Riding centre welcome riders of all abilities to experience the beauty of Rossbeigh Beach on horseback. They offer trail riding through breathtaking scenery as well as gentle rides along the six miles of golden sand at Rossbeigh Beach. A wonderful way to explore the Ring of Kerry.
