Tucked away in a tranquil, flourishing setting, yet a stone’s throw from the fishing village of St Mawes, this luxury self-catering cottage offers a rejuvenating coastal retreat. Family-friendly holiday cottage St Mawes

A luxury self-catering cottage which radiates homely comforts, Spinnakers offers relaxed coastal living near the beautiful seaside village of St Mawes. Embracing authentic Cornwall style with subtle nautical interiors, chunky beams and exposed stonework, this open-plan home is the coastal getaway of dreams. Throw open the double doors to the peaceful garden and settle onto the sheltered al fresco dining area and decking; an idyllic spot for both sunny breakfasts and twilight cocktails.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Whitewashed wood, reclaimed furnishings, inky blues and pebble grey accents rule the roost in the king-size bedroom, while the cosy twin offers wildlife-watching through the double doors from the comfort of cloud-soft beds and a steaming morning cup of coffee. After salty adventures on the Roseland Peninsula, enjoy an end-of-day wind down with a candlelit bath or refreshing shower in the family bathroom.

A nature lover’s paradise nestled in the gentle crook of apple blossoms and undulating lawn, Spinnakers offers a quiet place to sit back and get away from it all. Doze to the sound of frogs croaking in the pond, read beneath the shade of swaying trees and snuggle under blankets as stars twinkle above. When not making the most of this back-to-nature hideaway, enjoy the rockpools and boutique eateries of St Mawes or leg-stretching walks at the magical Trelissick Gardens.

For Relaxation

There are certainly no lack of activities for visitors to St Mawes. With sheltered coves in which to lazily paddleboard with the seals, courses in foraging, desserts and pasties at Philleigh Way cookery school and even a secret cinema (complete with loungers and thick blankets to snuggle under in winter) there really is something for the whole family. Relaxation and eating great food go hand-in-hand and with the Hidden Hut and Tatums Taverna both close by, hungry tummies can be satisfied with the freshest of ingredients with just a short jaunt down the road.

There is parking for two cars outside the cottage. The owners live next door should you need them during your stay. The open-plan kitchen has a fridge (no freezer), an electric cooker and separate utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Style: Chunky beams and exposed Cornish stonework combine in this open-plan barn conversion which exudes a nautical flavour. Designed with relaxation in mind, setting and style combine to create a haven for relaxation.
