Guest Feedback and Testimonials

Feedback is of utmost importance to us here at Unique Home Stays, and we love to hear back from our guests to ensure that we have not only fulfilled, but exceeded their expectations every step of the way. But don't just take our word for it, read what previous clients have said about Spinnakers below:

What a lovely place to spend a few lovely days exploring this wonderful area. We can recommend Miss V´s tearooms at St Just Church, a lovely walk there too, Enjoyed a very muddy walk down the lane into St Mawes. We absolutely loved out stay!

Thank you for a very peaceful holiday home. Thank you for the great welcome and ideas. Fish and trips were great! We had fun on the Camel Trail and enjoyed a lovely meal in Padstow!

Fantastic week with blazing sunshine the whole time, with some great walks, rides and more. Beautiful barn and great hospitality too. We will be back for more!

Spinnakers was a relaxing and cosy base from where we were able to explore the stunning Roseland Peninsula and beyond. We enjoyed some amazing scenery and were able to do some walks directly from the cottage which was ideal. St Just in Roseland church and grave yard were a highlight. It has also been excellent to enjoy much of the local food and drink that Cornwall has to offer. We enjoyed meals at Idle Rocks, The Watch House and St Mawes Hotel. Tarquins Cornish Gin is something to be savored and a bottle has been taken back home. Thank you all for a wonderful base for a great, relaxing holiday!

We found this property charming and the owners were just the right mixture of friendly and invisible.

Spinnakers was lovely, an idyllic spot. The owners of the property were very helpful and friendly, yet we also felt we had our privacy too for a real treat of a holiday. Unique Home Stays´ booking process was excellent and easy to understand. The hamper was very tasty too!

The fridge was well stocked with excellent local produce for out stay and the property itself was finished to a high standard. The owners provided a travel cot, which wasn´t necessary but was a nice touch.

Spinnakers has been converted, decorated and furnished with great flair. We chose the coldest March week that Cornwall has ever had, so the warmth and cosiness of the property was very much appreciated as was the cleanliness.

Great space for kids to run around in the garden and play outside, yet still close to St Mawes. The owners Maxine and Peter were outstanding and made the experience all the more special for us, and our children. Maxine was wonderful, gave us loads of great ideas of where to go, and my 4 year old son would love going to see the chickens with Maxine to see if there were any new eggs. The property was lovely, and the gardens and the setting were absolutely perfect.

We had a great stay at the Spinnakers - the owner Maxine was friendly and very accommodating, giving us our complete privacy but making sure we had all we needed.
