Seren Mor | Photoshoot Location | Newport, Pembrokeshire

Photoshoots at Seren Mor

Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK

Organic from top to toe, this private house shoot location on the shores of the Newport Estuary in Pembrokeshire is oh-so worthy of its win of the RIBA Welsh Architect Award. Exposed wood marries the interiors of Seren Mor with sweeping views of mountain and sea, while a wild garden tumbles down to the estuary itself, offering creatives a unique location in which premium photoshoots can truly come to life.

Said to be settled in what is “the most beautiful location for a house anywhere in the UK”, according to Sir Colin Stansfield-Smith, this shoot location on Wales’ most western shore is in prime position for melting sunsets to throw burning colours across the whitewashed walls. Floor to ceiling windows allow all who step within Seren Mor to feel at one with the elements, and whether there’s a sea mist drifting over the water or sun shining overhead, photographers who want to capture the changeable nature of coastal weather will be well placed here.

A terraced garden abundant with wildflowers and butterflies in spring, along with hidden clearings and overgrown pathways leading to the beach offers photoshoot directors and stylists a whimsical venue to play with. Within the contemporary walls of this unique shoot location lies a cornucopia of pure lines, modern wooden furnishings and natural light, along with gorgeous standalone tubs and beds with sea views (just perfect for jewellery or product shoots), and a garden store filled with kayaks for any film briefs in need of an adrenaline kick.

Towering sea stacks, volcanic hills, valleys scoured by glaciers and pretty towns; Pembrokeshire is no doubt the cherry on Wales´ already sweetly iced cake. On top of its natural riches, ancient castles and lovely St Davids are as picturesque as it gets.
