The lofty king-sized sleeping area is bedecked in fine linens and faux furs to give a real 'back to the wild' vibe. Our Take

Property Owner Pom says

The woods are covered in Bluebells and wildflowers in May. Walking through our magical woodland. The hornbeam circle is a special spot within the woodlands. For longer walks the woods lead off to a public footpath. Great for relaxing on the meadow in front of the cabin.

South Downs National Park Located between the cathedral city of Winchester and the chalk-white cliffs of Beachy Head, the South Downs is Britain's newest national park and comprises more than 600 square miles of rolling chalk downs and glorious countryside. In 2016 it was named as the world's newest “international dark sky reserve” for the quality of its starry nights!

East Head East Head is the sand dune spit situated at the eastern side of the entrance to nearby Chichester Harbour. It is a stunning example of a natural and dynamic coastal feature which is of great interest to environmentalists and ecologists because of its fragile nature. It is an SSSI (site of special scientific interest) and a Ramsar site (a wetland site of international importance).

Sandy Toes The nearest beach is West Wittering (50 minutes' drive). This gorgeously sandy beach has grassy picnic areas, awards for water cleanliness and opportunities to try your hand at kite-surfing, along with other on-the-water activities.

The woodland is abundant with berries, fungi, herbs and other such forageable delicacies for creating a woodland feast from the natural larder on your doorstep. Those who don't know their cuckoo pint from their sloe berries should opt to partake in a bushcraft course so that foraging can be done safely and under the careful guidance of experienced forager Clive.
