Benetfeld
Binfield, Berkshire, UK
Ablaze against the green and pleasant fields of Berkshire, this large country house and park is as bold on the outside as it is welcoming on the inside. Push through the front door and all is not what it seems; gleaming chandeliers hang above modish furnishings, pop art embellishes the 18th century walls, and patchwork quilts counterbalance kenspeckle electric guitars. Experiential, immersive and extraordinary; Benetfeld is no ordinary luxury house rental.
Introduction
Built from the same vivid red bricks which construct the Royal Albert Hall, this eccentric and luxurious country house close to Windsor is the venture of a born artist whose compositions live throughout every room. Grown from military abode to family legacy, personality dazzles around every corner, charisma beams through each floor-to-ceiling window. A true creative and luxury dwelling just an hour from London near chic Ascot and Windsor, whether self-catering or hired with private chefs and staff, guests are sure to leave fizzing with inspiration.
Inside
Heralding the past whilst looking to the future, Benetfeld’s unique collection of objets d’art journeys through the world, taking guests on a ride through some of the globe’s most stirring cultures and events. Even so, calm ensues throughout; the floodlit orangery kitchen makes cooking and informal breakfasts (or cocktails) an affair of beauty, while the enormous ballroom welcomes relaxed togetherness. Sweeping staircases, intricate detail and junglelike house plants; here is a country house where grand repose awaits.
Outside
A sun trap decking surrounded by soaring cedars and ancient oaks invites lazy summer lunches, while shaggy grass across the grounds tempts long siestas and picnics. Just ten miles away, Windsor offers a true taste of Britain; wander the cobbled streets, slowly amble down the banks of the River Thames and take a tour of Windsor Castle’s royal exhibitions. Just over the river, Eton’s Museum of Antiquities will satiate the curiosity of all family members, before heading back home for an al fresco supper under a setting sun.

From the owner
“The sky glows luminous orange peppered in pink clouds, creating the most magnificent view for breakfast in bed.”

The house was originally built in 1775 and is Grade II*. Built by Onesiphorus Elliot, the house passed to different families all who loved, lived and preserved the park. With a home of this nature, we are but keepers for the future generation; we take pride in looking after it to maintain its history.
Over the years Benetfeld has hosted fabulous festivities, restorative retreats, fantastical feasts, creative endeavours, photoshoots and film shoots all followed by a wonderful night’s sleep and delicious brunch.
There is something very special and unique about the atmosphere here; corners for coffee and book reading, communal areas to play games, dance and celebrate as well as formal and casual dining.
Our home means the world to us. We are a family of artists, filmmakers, scientists, writers, designers and more. We encourage you to become part of the destiny at Benetfeld where we look to create a legacy with like-minded guests.

Guest Testimonials
An absolutely stunning house, and the Christmas decorations and birthday welcome gifts were hugely appreciated. The decorations, artwork and trinkets all over the house made it feel very homely and characterful. Overall, the property was extremely well presented and exceeded our expectations. Please send my thanks to the owner for such a wonderful stay. We had an amazing time and the house and grounds were beautiful.
Benetfeld is absolutely stunning. The combination of the immense historic building and the contemporary interiors is a wow factor. Every room is different, making the house so exciting to explore. The owner is very welcoming and you get the feeling that you are in a family place where lots of great memories have been made; it invites you to make your own. The owners went out of their way to decorate the whole house for Christmas early in time for our stay. There aren´t enough words to cover all the fabulous things about this house, we had a magical time here and we hope we get to return.
We were on the search for a larger property and Benetfeld was able to offer just that for our family new year celebration. The location is lovely and the owner is great; so helpful and there for anything we needed.
Benetfeld is a very lovely, cosy property. We were very happy to be indoors with our friends. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, filled with wonderful pieces of art, trinkets and books and the bedding so very comfortable. The house is so warm and welcoming and Anoushka ensured we were very happy and settled. We didn’t leave the house! It´s perfect and ticked all the boxes for what we wanted. We leave Benetfeld very happy indeed!
