A place where afternoon teas would turn into flamboyant flapper parties daily, and villagers would come and go like moths among the topiary gardens and champagne towers. A century on the estate now belongs to a sculptor who opens the doors to those in search of a luxury self-catering country escape, overflowing in vintage fizz.
