Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors give way to breath-taking coastal views, whilst the terrace provides the perfect spot for all the family to enjoy some blissful downtime under twinkling starry skies with the sounds of the waves below. Quirky additions such as the suspended wood-burner and ultra-modern kitchen combine to make this coastal retreat near Cawsand one which you'll be inspired to write home about. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The spacious king-size double room sits under the 'eyebrow' of the eaves, and offers sleepy-heads the luxury of watching the tide ebb and flow from the vantage point of the marshmallow bed. The smart twin room (with zip-and-link bed can be arranged as a super king-size if required) has private access to the outside terraced balcony, and skylight windows will delight the stargazers among you. There is a first floor family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, as well as a ground floor shower room.  


The secluded landscaped gardens are the idyllic place to sit a-while, with only the morning birdsong and hypnotic crashing of the waves to disturb. Pops of colour and mature shrubs provide plenty of interest for the eye, whilst the sight and sound of the bees buzzing lazily around the flowers provide the perfect tonic for a relaxing afternoon. A hop, skip and a jump down the private garden path leads through the gate onto the South West Coast Path with miles of unbridled exploration at your disposal.

For Relaxation

Jam jars at the ready as you set off on your very own garden bug safari; an activity certain to inspire the imaginations of little ones! Sunshiny afternoons are best spent atop the spacious deck with a glass of something cold and a BBQ sizzling with the freshest catch of the day. Nearby Portwrinkle beach is a rockpooler's delight. The beach also boasts a stretch of fine golden sand and is a great spot for those brave enough to dip their toes in the typical Cornish waters. Just a short drive to Kingsand and Cawsand where you will find a smattering of eateries renowned for offering top quality local gastronomic delights. 


There is parking for up to three cars. The property sits alongside the owners' house, in which they live for the majority of the year. There is a storage cupboard with washing machine and dryer.

History and Intrigue The picture-perfect twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are well worth a visit. In the summer months, a passenger ferry will take you to the historic Barbican area of Plymouth to see where the Pilgrim fathers set sail for America. If visiting the area happens to fall on May Day, these twin villages celebrate in true style, with a carnival of Morris Dancers and May Poles, vibrant pubs and even a ship being sent off into the surf, to ensure safe seas for the local fishermen for the next year.

National Trust Antony House, a charming National Trust property in nearby Torpoint, was recently the location for Tim Burton's adaptation of 'Alice in Wonderland' starring Johnny Depp. Children and adults alike will love exploring the grounds, just be careful not to fall down any rabbit holes!
