Roseland Peninsula

Sitting pretty on Cornwall’s south coast, the Roseland Peninsula is laden with quiet beaches, beautiful scenery and award winning restaurants. The Roseland remains largely unspoilt and uncrowded, ensuring a blissful break away from everyday life.

Activities on the Roseland The Roseland Peninsula is home to a wealth of both sea and land based activities, suitable for all ages to enjoy whilst on holiday. The cooking school at Philleigh offers an unusual take on a night out, cooking your own supper for a unique dining experience whilst learning the tricks of the trade. The ticketed themed nights here and at the nearby Hidden Hut (as featured on ‘Cornwall with Caroline Quentin’) are not to be missed; think rustic hearty suppers with food and views to die for. Choose from one of many coastal walks in the area to work up an appetite and admire the scenery before sitting down to dine alfresco.

Days Out on the Water Situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Roseland is bordered by the Fal Estuary, the third largest natural harbour in the world. Find a sheltered spot to enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding or hire a sailing boat and sail away for a day's adventures on the waters. Enjoy a spot of fishing and watch the traditional Cornish Pilot Gigs rowing across the Carrick Roads. Hop aboard a ferry at the popular coastal village of St Mawes and sail to Falmouth harbour on one of Cornwall's iconic boat trips taking in the breath-taking scenery and marine life of Falmouth Bay.
