Days beneath the thatch of this luxury cottage are dreamy ones; sip morning tea in the terracotta garden room amidst a jungle of suspended greenery, snuggle beneath the gentle glow of chandeliers by the crackling wood burner and fall asleep on thick French linens while the fresh sea air washes through the open window. Settled a stone's throw from the north Cornwall coast, this peaceful home is perfectly enchanting in every way.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

With soft hues and exposed floorboards, Gwendolyn's bedrooms offer a restful escape. On the first floor is the master bedroom with super king-size four-poster bed and en suite shower room, a further king-size bedroom and one double. A wooden ladder leads to the loft room, with single and trundle beds, perfect for older children. The family bathroom with roll top bathtub and handheld shower is on the first floor, while the wet room is on the ground floor.

Feast on a breakfast banquet of fresh mackerel and gallons of steaming tea while enjoying the spectacular sea views of Perranporth beach before spreading out throws on the lawn and snoozing the hours away in the morning sun. Children will love the pond teeming with wildlife while grown-ups make a beeline straight for the hot tub settled within the walled garden. As the day cools, wrap in blankets under the rising moon while marshmallows toast on the fire.

For Relaxation

Armed with beach towels and spades, head to the sweeping sands of Perranporth Beach where surfers play in the waves and families dine with their feet in the sand at the only bar on the beach in the whole of the United Kingdom. Wander the coast path, take a refreshing dip in the sea and return to this magical French country-style home above the twinkling lights of the seaside town of Perranporth.

There is ample private parking in the cottage car park. The kitchen is equipped with range oven, American fridge freezer, washing machines and tumble dryers. Parents are advised that the loft bedroom is accessed via a wooden ladder and is not suitable for very young children. Due to the historic nature of the house, the ceilings are lower in some rooms. The fire will be laid in ready for you to light.
