Introduction

Seraphina offers luxury self-catering breaks in the most ambrosial of settings, set within the Roseland's sheltered landscape of secret beaches, Peacock butterflies and fairy-tale castles. This Grade-II listed thatched cottage is quintessentially Cornish on the outside, with interiors incorporating beautiful embroidery, copper accents and flourishes of earthy folk style. Downstairs comprises a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and dining room showcasing stunning artworks curated by a local painter.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Up the cottage stairs to the land of nod, guests will find a bedroom of Bohemian dreams. With a Moroccan-style headboard, the super king-size bed is dressed with a huge Anthropologie quilt and tasselled cushions - fit for a Peruvian Princess. The downstairs bathroom features a bath with shower attachment and underfloor heating, ensuring feet are kept warm when tiptoeing from bathtub to fireside on crisp winter nights.

Outside

The Roseland Peninsula in west Cornwall is a magical holiday destination, promising each and every visitor an enchanting escape. Ramble across the fields down the lane from the cottage to the stunning Pendower Beach, discover the 140 acre gardens of Caerhays Castle, catch an outdoor movie screening on the King Harry Ferry and indulge in midsummer feast nights at The Hidden Hut on Porthcurnick beach. For the less adventurous, Seraphina’s quaint cottage gardens offer a relaxing setting in which to unwind. Watch the fluffy lambs frolic about the surrounding fields as you soak up the joys of country life.

For Relaxation

From metropolitans craving a country escape to lovebirds simply wanting some 'you and me' time by the sea, stylish Seraphina combines the best of coast and country. Spend summer mornings chatting over fresh coffee and croissants under the parasol in the garden, then hire canoes to swan down the River Fal - there's no better way to admire the coastline than from the water. Let the crackling fire provide the soundtrack to winter evenings filled with fine wines, Cornish cheeses and Christmas movies. The idea of being snowed in will have never been more appealing...

Our Take

Property Owner Robbie says

We stayed in Seraphina in the summer of 2018 and loved it so much we bought it! I had enjoyed holidays as a child on nearby Pendower Beach and the Roseland is little changed since. We love Seraphina´s tranquil rural setting, yet how close it is to wonderful beaches.
