Photoshoots at Found Tower

Bawdsey, Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK

Imposing and iconic, Found Tower sits right on the shores of the Suffolk coastline in an AONB. This converted Martello tower built with almost a million yellow bricks flaunts 360 degree views of the sea and surrounding water meadows, along with a roof terrace to rival any in the UK. Found Tower and its alluring curves are sure to be a firm favourite with creatives on the hunt for the perfect shoot and stay location.

Overview

Monumental in its stature on the Suffolk coast close to Bawdsey, Found Tower offers an industrial edge to an otherwise rural setting, making a unique location for product launches and high-end fashion shoots. A steel staircase rising from the marsh leads to a heavy wooden door, creating an impressive entrance to this ambitious conversion of an early 19th century Martello tower, while all around swaying grasses rustle in the wind and rippling water shines in the sun; the perfect coming together of sturdy engineering and the soft tones of nature.

Spaces

A modern open plan living area occupies the upper level of Found Tower, enjoying panoramic views of the sea birds floating on the thermals, along with direct access to the sun-trap roof terrace and shifting cloudscapes beyond. Deep inset windows, a curved red sofa and a grand piano all sit within the circular building which spirals around a central brick shaft, offering opportunities for showcasing new jewellery or lounging fashion models. For ethereal sunset shots, follow the crisscrossing footpaths outside flanked by golden beach rushes.
