Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The effortlessly stylish bedroom boasts a king-size bed bedecked in fine linens and cloud-soft pillows to ensure a blissful night's sleep. What better way to lull yourself to sleep than stargazing up through the solar-powered skylights counting the shooting stars? Seaglass flaunts a luxury shower room with heated towel rail, and, after a day at the beach, shower sandy bodies under the night sky in the heated outdoor shower (roomy enough for two!)

This luxury self-catering beach hut has spacious decking and enclosed sloping gardens, perfect for catching the Cornish sunshine. Our Take

Property Owners Paul & Lindsey say

This is a place of contrast, constant change and beauty and is at the heart of Cornish coastal life. We feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to create this home in such a wonderful place and we have tried to keep it at one with its surroundings.

Out & About

Discover places to see and things to do whilst in and around Tregonhawke, Cornwall to truly enhance your stay come rain or shine!

Village Life There are some really beautiful seaside villages close to the property. Polperro (within 30 minutes) is well worth a visit; take the horse and cart to the harbour front, then head on foot to look for the natural swimming pool carved into the rocks, before dinner at Couch’s.  Visit the fishing village of Looe with its cobbled streets, quaint cafes and gift shops, whilst there’s a real step-back-in-time feel to the narrow streets and quaint cottages of nearby Kingsand and Cawsand.

Green Fingers From the 865 acres of parkland that comprise Mount Edgcumbe County Park, to the riverside setting of Anthony House and the woodland walks at Cothele, there are a whole host of interesting gardens and historic houses to explore.  The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a little further afield (around an hour from Seaglass) but worth a visit to witness the Victorian gardens, ancient woodland and sub-tropical jungle first hand.

On Foot Adventures Pack a picnic and head off on foot to explore the stunning surrounds in which Seaglass is nestled. There are some great walks from your doorstep whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or long leg-stretch.

On the Water From learning to surf, to coasteering and kayaking; whether you’re a novice when it comes to on-the-water escapades and you’re looking to try something new, or you’ve experience when it comes to adventure sports, there’s a whole host of activities available locally.

Nearest Beach 0.1 mile by footpath to Tregonhawke Beach (uneven footpath and 100+ steps), 1.1 mile by beach or 1.2 miles by road to Freathy, 1.7 miles to Whitsand Bay.

The open-plan kitchen and living space is a social space for preparing simple breakfasts and romantic candlelit suppers. Whatever the weather you cannot fail to be tempted out on to the deck to take in those heavenly views- wrap up warm and enjoy a winter BBQ when the skies are at their most dramatic and the stars at their most dazzling.

In-House Cuisine

If you'd rather spend your self-catering break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your party (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).

Eating Out

You probably won’t want to leave Seaglass behind once you’re there, but if you do want a change of scenery, then you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to local eateries. Just a 30 minute stroll away is The View restaurant where you can enjoy exquisite fish and seafood dishes. For a traditional parcel of salty fish and chips visit Posh Nosh, whilst slightly further afield the Blue Peter pub in Looe is perfect for a bowl of mussels on the terrace.
