Homestay Specialist

Unique Homestays are seeking a weekend Homestay Specialist to work within our innovative and professional team. This is a sales roles with a difference, perfect for someone who is confident, efficient and can deliver a truly unique customer experience.

The Role

The role of a Homestay Specialist is wide and varied. You will often be the first voice of Unique Homestays, building strong relationships with guests and owners alike. Your primary focus is to deliver a personable and memorable experience for our discerning clientele. This will include everything from providing a bespoke service to brides and grooms, helping arrange last minute luxury escapes to organising large celebratory occasions in a grand country house. The list goes on...

The Person

The ideal candidate will immerse themselves in our portfolio of outstanding luxury homes, having the opportunity of visiting them, becoming an expert on all their distinctive quirks and revelling in sharing these with our clients.

You will be passionate about the challenge of providing exceptional customer service, attentive to the needs of our exclusive clientele and confident in creating bespoke travel solutions. You will be part of a team working to ensure a consistent level of excellence and expertise in all communications, as you would expect when representing a luxury brand. Relevant experience, especially that of providing a personal level of customer care in the luxury market would be a strong advantage.

The Specifics

  • This is a permanent weekend role.
  • Working 16.5 hours each weekend 9 hours on a Saturday (9am-6pm) and 7.5 hours on a Sunday (10am-5:30pm), with a 30-minute unpaid break on each day.
  • There is also the opportunity for 16 additional hours over two week days on a temporary basis.
  • You will have 21 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rata. 
  • Starting salary is dependent on experience

Experience and Skills

  • A genuine interest and knowledge in beautiful properties and luxury travel
  • Effective time management skills, and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills accompanied by a high level of attention to detail
  • Accomplished at crafting an excellent standard of written and verbal communication
  • Good working knowledge of the internet and IT skills including Outlook and Excel
