Coastal abstract art adorns the walls, whilst exposed stone reflects the coastal location. Gorgeously sumptuous throughout, sink into squishy sofas set around the open granite fire, watch the sun set over the ocean and dine in the conservatory overlooking the wild and wonderful west coast of Cornwall.
Outside
The secluded, enclosed coastal gardens and large heated outdoor pool will prove enormously popular amongst all generations, especially with the mesmeric views and stunning seascapes as a backdrop. Lay out al fresco lunches and make like the Mediterraneans, grazing on cold meats and olives between dips. Inspire children by watching the local surfers cut shapes on the waves, sometimes with playful dolphins for company, before reclining to watch the dramatic Cornish sunset unfold.

Whether here to surf one of Britain´s best beach breaks, or to walk the breath-taking South West Coast Path, Sennen Cove is one of the most unspoilt corners of the UK and begs for adventure.
Getting there
- On the Map North Rock Beach House is situated on the approach to Sennen Cove, just a short hop from Lands End.
- By Car From London, take the M4 towards Bath, the M5 South and the A30 to Cornwall, and follow the directions provided to the property.
- By Train The nearest train station is in Penzance, approximately seven miles from the property. Regular routes run from Paddington and the views along the way are sure to get you in holiday mode.
- By Air Newquay airport is around an hour and fifteen minutes drive away.

“North Rock Beach House makes a wonderfully rejuvenating coastal home for a break away with family. It overlooks Sennen Cove which is one of West Cornwall´s most beautiful sandy beaches dubbed "the bay where the dolphins play" and a truly magical setting.”
We think North Rock is a perfect place to relax whatever the weather, both when the sun shines and the gales blow. We have tried to make it a home-from-home and encourage guests to take advantage of the many nearby facilities including tennis at Porthcurno, golf at St Just and fishing at Ayr Point. Gwenver beach is the most enchanting spot and is just 10 minutes from the house.
Our children learned how to surf at the surf school in Sennen Cove and we highly recommend it for its friendly, professional and highly trained instructors. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby such as The Beach Café in the cove, the Gurnard’s Head on the way to St Ives, with many more in Penzance and Mousehole. If you want to cook at home, we recommend a trip to Harvey’s in Newlyn where you can buy the most delicious fresh crab or lobster. The Minnack Theatre is magnificent too, whether you go and see a production or just take in the breathtaking views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at North Rock Beach House, enhanced by almost perfect weather! It´s comfortable and relaxing with everything you need. The main living room with its picture window is delightful and offered wonderful sunsets and sea views. My favourite area was the conservatory where I had "Grandma time" each morning. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the gardens, particularly my grandsons who spent many hours in the water and discovering "secret" areas in the garden. The immediate access to the coastal path was great!
We felt North Rock Beach House was absolutely stunning and we loved every minute of our stay. We could never tire of the views from the garden and the main sitting room. Magnificent.
