Bedrooms and Bathrooms
On the first floor of the East Wing a sumptuous double bedroom and a lofty vaulted twin bedroom share a family bathroom. Two double en-suite bedrooms occupy the first floor of the West Wing, whilst a double and a twin bedroom share a bathroom on the second floor. All rooms are bedecked in fine linens and luxurious furnishings and provide a peaceful place to lay one's head for a blissful night's slumber. There is one stand alone shower and two hand-held showers at Scudamore.
The manor house overlooks the rolling countryside of Wiltshire, where the verdant landscape is littered with more mysterious stone circles, ancient barrows and processional avenues than anywhere else in Britain. This corner of the Cotswolds is certainly a place crying out to be explored. The formal un-fenced gardens at Scudamore include classical lawn terraces with clipped hedging, wild flower copses, a Provence-style courtyard and summer house with all-season appeal. Please note the property is situated just a short distance from the main road and is along a small village road; perfect for a short walk to the village pub for a hearty dinner and to sample the local ales. We kindly request that dogs are kept to the stone floor areas of the house and are not permitted on the carpets or furniture.

The manor boasts a well equipped kitchen featuring both a conventional oven and Aga (in the winter months), making whipping up a feast an absolute pleasure. Choose to dine in the comfortable dining room (seats up to twelve guests), or why not enjoy an afternoon picnic out on the lawns after a game of croquet?
If you'd rather spend your luxury self-catering break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your party (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).
Within 200 yards of the property is an excellent gourmet pub, The Angel Inn. With beamed ceilings, open fires and cosy atmosphere, the inn offers a warm welcome. Advanced bookings would be recommended as this excellent gastro pub is extremely popular!
