An idyllic location on the water's edge, nestled in a landscape of wooded creeks and inlets, the village of Malpas is a truly beautiful setting. You're just a riverside walk away from Truro with its stunning cathedral, great selection of eateries and choices of delis and boutiques. Although the Creekside Boat House does not have a garden area, there's a real outside/inside feel with the floor-to-ceiling sitting room window affording beautiful views which welcome the outside in.
You’ll find it hard to leave the comfort of the sofa. Remember to pack your binoculars as you watch the ebb and flow of the tide and the plethora of birds – from curlews to egrets, herons to turnstones that call the River Creek, Malpas their home. The beautiful sub-tropical gardens of the large country estates of Trelissick and Tregothnan can be glimpsed through the thick, lush woodlands that come right down to the water’s edge.
There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher at the property. While there is no allocated parking space for the property, there is side-of-road parking for one vehicle to the rear of the house.
