Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The three beautifully-appointed bedrooms fuse olde-worlde charm with sumptuous linens and promise a blissful night's slumber. The king-size double bedroom, the zip-and-link superking, and the smartly furnished twin room all benefit from distant sea views. There are two bathrooms on the first floor; one with a stand alone tub, walk-in shower and stylish flooring, and one with a bath with shower over.
Smuggler's Cottage has a sweet lawned garden to the rear which is perfect for an evening BBQ during the summer months. The property is located down an unmade lane which serves a handful of neighbouring properties. There is a selection of wetsuits if you fancy heading to the beach, which is just a short amble down the coastal path (or a two minute drive).
Snuggle up by the woodburner after the day's adventures with a selection of family board games to keep the young (and the young at heart!) entertained for hours. The ground floor family room with games console will also keep little ones occupied in all seasons. In summer months the pretty cottage garden will prove a blissful spot to sit and read or to catch the last of the day's rays, with nothing to disturb but the distant call of the seagulls soaring over the ocean.
There is parking for up to three cars directly outside the cottage. The cottage has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. There is also a small study and downstairs W.C at the property. There is a woodburner that can be used freely with seasoned and dried logs. As is common with old cottages, the ceilings are low in places and the walls delightfully wonky!

One normally equates a thatched cottage with rolling countryside and rural surroundings, so it truly is a unique opportunity to be able to stay in a chocolate-box cottage so close to the sea!
