Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Each of the bedrooms at this unique self-catering beach house are bedecked with fine linens in neutral sandy hues, taking inspiration from the powdery dunes. There is a king-size bedroom on the ground floor, as well as a zip-and-link room which can either be arranged as a king-size bed or two singles as required. The master bedroom on the first floor boasts a breathtaking picture window where you can watch the gulls soar over the ocean from the comfort of your king-size bed. Curtained off from the master room is a beamed lofty twin room just perfect for children. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with WC and shower and a separate WC, whilst the first floor has a walk-in shower room and WC.
Camber is a very special area indeed with various habitats such as shingle, saltmarsh, sand dunes and saline lagoons making it a Site of Special Scientific Interest. As evening falls the warm glow of the fire pit will provide the perfect spot for toasting marshmallows and regaling one another with much-loved stories under a velvet star-speckled sky. Camber is just three miles from the trendy coastal hot spot of Rye, meaning delicious eateries and quirky boutiques are just a short drive away.
Fisherfolk and yachty types will be spoiled for choice with the plethora of on-the-water activities on offer at Barefoot Beach House. Enjoy a sunset stroll in the surf, gallop a horse through the early evening shorebreak, or act out your 'Lawrence of Arabia' fantasy at the quieter western end of the beach amongst the dunes. Being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves breaking on the shore is nothing short of magnificent.
One '4x4' can be parked directly outside the property on the beach itself, whilst one parking permit for the beach car park will be provided for non 4x4 users (just a short walk from the property). In high season driving across the beach should be arranged before 10.30am and after 5.30pm as the beach can become very busy.

Property Owner Mark says
I used to come to Camber as a boy and never dreamed one day I would be lucky enough to own a house on the beach. The simple pleasures I enjoyed then are the same today. There´s nothing quite like the smell of sea air, the sand between your toes and the delight in watching the ever changing seascape.

FOOD AND DRINK
The open plan modern kitchen and dining area makes culinary adventures a sociable event where all the family can come together to prepare delicious hearty suppers. Salty seadogs might prefer cooking al fresco out on the fire pit; the freshest catch of the day tastes best when eaten outdoors with the ocean providing the soundtrack.
From a catered celebratory dinner for one night of your stay to home-cooked meals throughout, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your party (on prior request and subject to an addition cost).
Nearby Rye plays host to several excellent eateries including Webbes at The Fish Café and The George, a favourite for Hollywood celebrities such as George Clooney, Matt Damon and Bill Murray who have all eaten here. For a taste of the seaside, head to Marino’s on Rye High Street for the best fish and chips in the area. Just a five minute walk from the house is The Gallivant, one of only a handful of restaurants to be awarded two AA rosettes in the South East of England.
