The enviable location right on the beach in Sandwich Bay will be the crowning glory at this luxury self-catering beach house in Kent, but The Restoratory's seafront position and far-reaching views are just the first of the numerous delights on offer at this stunningly designed private beach home.
Boasting a modern vintage theme with art deco-inspired styling, The Restoratory is a resplendent Tudor-style house set within a private estate in Sandwich Bay boasting Designer's Guild fabrics, literary-themed art work and interesting artefacts peppered throughout. The attention to detail and beautiful interiors ensure that this luxury seaside holiday home will create special memories for all the family, to last a lifetime.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
This unique property has a double bedroom with king-size stylish bedstead, as well as a calming twin room (which can also be arranged as a super king-size double depending on your group and preference) and a family bathroom with bath tub and separate rain shower. Hunker down beneath reassuringly luxurious eiderdowns for an uninterrupted night's sleep filled with the sweetest of dreams.
Exclusively tucked away within a gated estate boasting five miles of private beach, The Restoratory has a sweet al fresco dining courtyard area where the call of the seabirds will provide the soundtrack to your day. The traditional clapperboard beach huts provide a quirky addition to the garden in which children will be delighted to find shrimping nets (the beach is one of the best for shrimping in the UK!). Sandwich Bay is a long sweeping inlet of the sea between Ramsgate and Deal on the east coast of Kent and is known as one of the best preserved medieval towns in the UK.
After a day at the seaside, catch up on that long overdue reading list beneath a floppy sun hat whilst the children play happily alongside in the garden. The nearby trendy foodie haunt of Whitstable is a must-visit for lovers of seafood, whilst golf aficionados will covet the proximity to world-class golf courses such as Royal St George's, Royal Cinque Ports, and Prince's. Children will delight in the garden playroom (shared use with the owner's other holiday cottage) with soft play, ping pong and more.
There is parking for two cars. This self-catering property is well equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and microwave. The owners live adjacent in the main house.

AROUND THE PROPERTY
Style: The rich tapestry of colour and pattern inspired by the Arts and Crafts era brings about a very special home by the seaside in Kent. Quirky touches and luxury fittings create the perfect luxury break from the norm!
EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.
Property Owner Francesca says
I wanted to create a really indulgent space for guests to curl up with a book and just enjoy the surroundings, and to offer a luxurious base from which to explore the area. The uniqueness is what first attracted me, and I hope guests will love it as much as we do!
FOOD AND DRINK
The beautifully fitted well-equipped cottage kitchen with electric oven and hob, has a country cottage table which seats up to four guests for informal dinners or relaxing breakfasts. Buy freshly caught Dover Sole on the beach at Deal or pick newly landed mackerel and cod from the fish market in Folkestone for a true local flavour of this stretch of the Kent coast.
If you'd rather spend your self-catering break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you and your party (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).
Nearby trendy Whitstable is famous for its restaurants so there's lots to choose from (especially if oysters are your thing!). There are lots of gastro pubs to choose from such as The Dove at Dargate and Michelin-starred The Sportsman at Seasalter.
