Traditionally thatched using water reed and wheat, this luxury cottage is part of a Grade-II listed 16th century old rectory and epitomises the English countryside dream. The traditional honey-coloured façade conceals the stylish and elegant interiors within. Discerning guests will adore the warm welcome from the owners at this charming self-catering cottage in the Somerset countryside, and feel right at home with discreet mod cons and sumptuous fabrics sprinkled throughout.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Both the ground floor bedrooms boast luxury linens and the softest cloudburst pillows to ensure a blissful uninterrupted night's sleep. The master bedroom is furnished in a romantic French style with a smattering of florals and accents of bluebell, whilst the twin room (which can also be arranged as a superking-size bed on request) is smartly dressed and inspired by the landscape all around. Each bedroom has its own en suite shower room.

The picture-perfect gardens make the perfect place to sit-a-while in the afternoon sunshine; boasting extensive views, herbaceous borders, wild flowers and rambling roses. Children of all ages will enjoy the large enclosed shared gardens which have a trampoline, tyre swing and football net. Described by the ancient Welsh Celts and Saxons as the 'Land of the Summer People', Somerset is a county of captivating contrasts. Its coast takes in long sweeping sandy beaches, seaside resorts, harbours and marinas, and the dramatic Exmoor coastline is something visitors will be inspired to write home about.

For Relaxation

Enjoy views over the gardens where the birdsong and the peal of the church bells are the only thing to disturb you from your chilled glass of Pimms! Summer afternoons are best spent cloud-watching whilst lazily swinging in the hammock, whilst the little ones play happily alongside. Foodie aficionados will love the Oyster Bar in nearby Lyme Regis, and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage in Axminster, whilst the magic and mystery of Glastonbury is just a short drive away.

Bluebell Grey is located next to the main house and has private parking for two cars. The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, electric oven and hob.
