This architect-designed woodland cabin near Billingshurst is shrouded from the outside world by the kaleidoscope of wildflowers which fill the rainbow-hued meadow outside so guests won’t hear a peep from anyone other than the timid woodland animals who call this idyllic setting their home. You won’t find distractions like television or Wi-Fi at Little Bear, allowing those in pursuit of a digital detox a deliciously luxurious haven in which to re-awaken their connection to nature and re-spark the simple passion which first ignited their romance.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Each area of Little Bear feels separate even though the cleverly-designed open-plan living area organically flows from one end of the cabin to the other. The lofty king-sized sleeping area is bedecked in fine linens and faux furs to give a real 'back to the wild' vibe. As beseeched by fable, the king-sized bed is not too hard and not too soft - it's just right. The beautiful bathroom area with walk-in shower and heated towel rail give a real luxurious feel to this magical abode.
The wildflower meadow and organic gardens at Little Bear are very special indeed. The waltzing boughs, sighing winds and feathered musical choristers which form the magical woodland amphitheatre on your doorstep provides a natural operatic backdrop to blaze the senses. Lovebirds will find the wood-fired hot tub a blissful way to reconnect and revivify over an expertly-mixed martini, whilst choosing to sit fireside with a mug of hot chocolate underneath the moon's cool glow is nothing short of enchanting.
Even though this luxury hideaway is immersed within ancient woodland, those who like their creature comforts will rejoice in the fact that a friendly inn is just a short walk away serving real ales and home-cooked food. On returning to your luxury woodland cabin, marvel as the deep velveteen sky above begins to pinprick with a million sparkly diamonds. Wrap up in fluffy towels and tiptoe out to the eco hot tub to enjoy a unique experience under the stars, there’s nothing quite like it…
You cannot drive up to Little Bear, but the parking is just a couple of minutes pretty walk away (wheelbarrow supplied for helping with bags!). Little Bear benefits from an electric oven and hob, a fridge with ice box and microwave. There is no washing machine, but there is both a fire pit outside and a woodburner inside (perfect for drying hand-washed clothes!). The hot tub is a unique wood-fired affair which takes time to warm up thanks to being powered by eco-friendly wood-fire.

The woods are covered in Bluebells and wildflowers in May. Walking through our magical woodland. The hornbeam circle is a special spot within the woodlands. For longer walks the woods lead off to a public footpath. Great for relaxing on the meadow in front of the cabin.
