This has been just what we needed after an eventful year and very busy few months. There is a real sense of being looked after with thoughtful touches - something that can´t be taken for granted. For both of us, the sense of quiet and opportunity to completely relax has been wonderful. In our opinion, much better than going to a hotel. We’ll be back!

We couldn´t have imagined a more peaceful escape. This little cabin felt like stepping out of time, gentle, and beautifully considered. A few days far from the rush of Paris and Brussels, held in calm and simplicity. Thank you for creating a space that lets people breathe again!

The most relaxing and wonderful weekend! The perfect place to unwind and take a break from London life! Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the garden and outside space.

Our second visit and it was lovely to compare a winter with a summer stay. Having turtle doves every day was a real treat. We spent a lot of time outside. Highlights were Great Dixter, the most amazing gardens we have ever seen, seeing great egrets at the RSPB reserve, Dungeness and an anniversary meal at The George in Rye. We also enjoyed a meal at the Wood Pack nearby. For a nostalgic pint you can´t beat the Red Lion at Snargate.

Romany was absolutely stunning! A beautiful property in a beautiful location. The store cupboard essentials available were much appreciated, as was the sparkling wine. We’re already talking about returning.

We loved everything about our stay, it was the most perfect place to start the new year.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. We have a two-month-old and a cockapoo and it was the perfect place for our little family! We loved the secluded location and the shabby chic feel of the place, with the added touch of luxury throughout like the hot tub and very comfortable bed and beautiful furnishings! A lovely, comfortable house in a lovely peaceful setting. Just right to unwind. Go to the Little Rock on the beach in Folkestone for a lovely lunch. And go to the farm shop, it´s wonderful!

What a lovely place! We decided that, by chance, we came on the best week of the year to enjoy it all. The fresh green of the grass, frothy hedge parsley, and the cuckoo every morning. It was really special. PS. Webbe’s Fish Café in Rye is excellent!

Beautiful shabby chic property in a lovely, peaceful, private setting. Well equipped and comfortable. Excellent blackout blinds. Ideal location for cycling, walking and good food/vineyards.

The garden, setting and home looked so peaceful and the high aesthetic and design was also obvious. The gardens were fantastic and the hot tub well placed. Perfect facilities for a relaxing, self-sufficient and enjoyable stay.

Lovely location and views. Enjoyed the secluded nature of the property. The design and style was very relaxing and welcoming. The bedroom was lovely, very comfy bed and a great bath. The outdoor hot tub was a welcome addition. Overall we really liked the property.

The location was great. Close to many places we wanted to see and yet it felt very remote and so peaceful. Great to ‘come home’ to. Birdsong is the only thing you hear. Beautiful big sky and great walks.
