Thank you so much for allowing us to celebrate our wedding at your beautiful place in the Cotswolds. We´ve had the most magical weekend and already can´t wait to return soon. We will never forget our stay and our wedding, which you helped to make so special. You truly have the most wonderful people here and are incredible. All our love.
Thank you so much for making our wedding weekend better than we could have ever dreamed it could be. From the first time we came to Gulliver´s Hall in April, we fell in love with its beauty and warmth, which you created. You have been there every step of the way in the preparations, supporting us right up to the church door! You truly went above and beyond in helping us, from setting us up with the vendors (Ian, Amy, and Chaz) to even providing the bridal chauffeur!
A magical place run by wonderful people! Everything was beautiful and everyone absolutely loved it. It´s now our favourite place! Thank you so much!
What an unbelievable weekend! It´s been heavenly from start to finish. The quality of everything in this house is top notch. It´s been fitting to have such a special event at such a special place with wonderful people. Thank you for everything. I will never forget my stay here!
We feel so fortunate to have had our wedding reception at Gullivers Hall in the beautiful village of Bisley. The house which accommodated 21 of our guests is exceptional down to the smallest detail. A beautiful home for us all which made for the happiest weekend. The stunningly converted barn and farm buildings provided a magical space for the best evening. The owners, Kate and Martin went above and beyond in helping to facilitate things and made the whole planning process enjoyable and exciting rather than stressful. We felt incredibly supported by them from the very start and they really did go above and beyond. Unique Homestays were also great throughout the process. We look forward to returning to Gullivers Hall in the years to come.
Magical! From the first time we came to Gulliver´s Hall, magical was the world that came to mind, and Kate and Martin´s attention to detail, warm and welcoming manner was the icing on the cake! Everyone in our party had a wonderful time and enjoyed all that their beautiful home had to offer. It is sad to go but we have created memories that none of us will forget. We look forward to returning in the future.
Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, from the facilities and accommodation to the views, gardens to the historical setting. Many, many thanks for all your thought & preparation to make our celebration such a resounding success!
A really wonderful week of lunches and dinners leading up to the family wedding. The dining table worked so well, the barn was perfect for dancing and the outdoor spaces were really atmospheric. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, to whom we say thank you for letting us share this very special place. We are exhausted but very happy!

Introduction
In the presence of up to 100 guests, you might hold a humanist ceremony in the wedding barn, or a blessing in wildflower gardens should the roe deer make room. Alternatively, choose a church ceremony in All Saints Bisley, just minutes from the country house wedding venue, before returning for an atmospheric reception. For weddings with more than 40 guests, a wedding co-ordinator is also included, ensuring the celebrations are entirely bespoke; we can recommend our preferred caterers, who can serve seared scallop canapés and seasonal feasts, or plan to send guests on a scavenger hunt through wildflower meadows and woodland trails.
Inside
Inside the historic wedding barn, stained-glass windows, exposed stone walls and vaulted ceilings with original timber beams create a cathedral-like space. Here, you might feast around banqueting tables festooned with seasonal blooms, and dance late into the night holding signature cocktails. In the main house, discover hidden doorways, antique furniture, a cinema room and an oak tree-turned-table toppling with bottles of vintage Champagne. For overnight guests, there are seven bedrooms, including the principal suite with an Adam and Eve four-poster, and three modern bedrooms in the pool house, sleeping 21 in total.
Outside
Weddings at Gulliver's Hall mean being immersed in acres of woodland, wildflower meadows, grassy banks and verdant pastures. Watch peregrines soar overhead and possibly even an otter make an honoured appearance. Meandering trails, steps leading to secret wild pockets, and an abundance of trees invite guests to explore and videographer’s to work their magic. Picture silent discos in front of Giacometti-style bronze statues, or late-night capricciosas fresh from the pizza oven. An outdoor pool (open from April to October), spa bath, sauna and steam room invite you to unwind and soak it all in after the celebrations.
There are ten bedrooms at this luxury wedding venue, seven in the main house (sleeping 15) and three in the pool house (sleeping 6), most of which are en suite or have a dedicated bathroom. There are two WCs in the wedding barn.

Bisley
A winding market town in the Cotswolds countryside, Bisley is one of a few under-the-radar settlements that remain in a sea of high society spots. Come here for thatched pubs, aimless strolls, and conversations with the villagers about the good old days.

Getting there
- On the map The luxury elopement wedding venue is tucked under a hill overlooking Toadsmoor Valley just outside of Bisley in the Cotswolds AONB.
- By car Gulliver's Hall is around fifteen minutes from Stroud, thirty minutes from Cirencester, one hour from Oxford, and two hours from London by car.
- By train Stroud is fifteen minutes away by car, and half-an-hour by public transport and foot. There are regular trains from London Paddington with a journey time of one-and-a-half hours with GWR. Cheltenham Spa and Kemble are both within thirty minutes.
- By air Gloucestershire Airport is twenty-five minutes away, Birmingham Airport and Bristol Airport are each around one hour away, and London Heathrow is two hours away by car.

“The peace and tranquillity of Gulliver´s Hall is its most enviable asset. After its success as a private estate, we had a vision to create an enchanting wedding venue in the Cotswolds that everyone could enjoy - from Grandma to the children.”
It is the seclusion of the venue, which perches on the shoulder of the wooded Toadsmoor Valley, that makes it so unique. The area has an abundance of wildlife, forests, and wildflowers: all amounting to a surreal wedding backdrop.
An idyllic childhood home turned eccentric wedding venue, the estate offers something for everyone. Whether that's taking portraits on a sheltered bench in my mother´s favourite spot in the garden, or watching the bow-tied children play in front of one of my father´s sculptures in the long grass. The spa (with its heated spring water), sauna, and heated pool all combine to create a place for pre and post-wedding R&R.
Begin the wedding day on the sun deck with a cup of coffee in a comfortable chair, perhaps with the newspaper of the day from the village shop. Finish the day in the same spot with a coupe of fizz as the sun sets on the proceedings. From the pizza oven to the croquet lawn, the home is riddled with exciting finds and spots for entertaining.
We hope that you find as much comfort, joy, and laughter here; that you and your guests feel relaxed and thoroughly at home for the duration of the celebrations. Above all, we hope you weave your memories into the fabric of our home.
