If there's one day of the year where free-flowing cocktails are essential, it's Christmas day. Here, Timothy Warrilow, co-founder of Fever-Tree, shares his go-to tipple using their seasonal tonic, containing a blend of sweet clementines and subtle cinnamon with the highest quality quinine to make a special warming tonic water perfect for the festive period.

Ingredients for one serving:

Method:

To make Fever-Tree's Clementine Christmas Cocktail, fill a large glass with ice, add 50ml of sloe gin and top with the clementine tonic. To finish, garnish with a twist of clementine peel.

For those after something with a more classic taste, this clementine tonic water also pairs well with London dry gins and for a non-alcoholic alternative, Pentire has a selection of botanical spirits.

With special thanks to Fever-Tree for sharing their recipe and images.
