Luxury self-catering accommodation in Perranporth

With some of the finest surf the South West has to offer, Perranporth on the north Cornwall coastline is the perfect place to take to the water.

There's no doubt that life here centres around the large curve of sand that is Perranporth Beach. Firmly settled within the north Cornwall strip of surf coastline, this bay has all the hire shops, surf schools and seasonal lifeguarding that such aquatic activities attract, and the village has plenty to offer, too. When you've explored the cafés, boutique shops and ice cream parlours, head out across the Poldarkian countryside. The South West Coast Path runs right through Perranporth and rambles to St Agnes in the south, or Holywell Bay just north reveal more stunning scenery to admire.

Those not surfing can dip toes in the ocean at low tide when Perranporth Beach opens up to Penhale Sands, an extension of the bay for shell-pickers combing the shoreline. For day trips, picturesque Crantock is a short drive away, as is Trerice, an Elizabethan manor house with stunning gardens to explore. Back on the sands of Perranporth, the Watering Hole hosts locals and visitors alike looking for sweet sundowners after all that sandcastle-building. As the 'UK's only bar on the beach', this venue offers up live music and a warm atmosphere; perfect for watching the sun dip below the horizon.
