Property Owner Sarah says
As our family farm barn and somewhere IŽd idle away many a happy childhood day, for me it was integral to create an interior that reflected the history of the barn while retaining a home-from-home feel. I wanted the ambience of The Wool Shed to encourage around-the-fire catch-ups and lazy lie-ins.

FOOD AND DRINK
The well-equipped open-plan kitchen, complete with range-style cooker is the perfect space to create inspired dishes. There's delicious fresh local produce to be discovered at Trevilly Farm Shop, which is just a short drive from The Wool Shed. Or for those looking for a real foodie experience, we can arrange anything from wild food escapes to fish filleting masterclasses at the property.
If you'd rather spend your luxury self-catering break indulging in the little luxuries, let an in-house chef prepare a mouth-watering meal for you (on prior request and subject to an additional cost).
Tucked down a country lane at Mawgan Porth, Retorrick Mill might be unassuming on approach, but the rustic decor exudes an authentic cabin-feel while the food truly embraces local, seasonal produce, from hand-crafted pizzas to seafood. A little further afield, The Hidden Hut - tucked along the coast path near Portscatho and St Mawes is worth a visit, especially on their Feast Nights, which run from March to September. The setting, ambiance and delicious dishes combine for a truly unique evening. For a traditional, rustic pub with great food, head to the St Kew Inn.
