The Beach Hut in Cornwall

Combining stripped floors with white-washed walls and duck-egg blue clapperboard exteriors to bring about a special rustic charm, The Beach Hut brings whole new meaning to the term seaside chic. This unique property is a popular choice for film and photo shoots, with guests such as Titantic star Kate Winslet enjoying time spent at The Beach Hut on her Cornish holidays. When the sun melts into the dramatic ocean, the awe-inspiring landscape provides the backdrop for the real stars, as millions of them pinprick the velvety blanket of dark night sky.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The lofty open-plan room at The Beach Hut boasts a cloud-soft king-size double bed adorned with fake furs and the finest of linens to ensure a blissful night's sleep. The small separate wet room with shower, sink and WC is perfect for washing off sandy bodies after a day at the beach (and has just enough room for two...).

Perched on a grassy knoll right on the beachfront, The Beach Hut is set in the small valley of Millook between popular harbour towns of Bude and Boscastle. This secret surf spot (when the conditions are just right) is one of the finest left hand point breaks in the whole of Europe; sit out on the salt-weathered veranda and watch the surfers gather far out at sea as they ride the Atlantic waves using a heady combination of fearless skill and cat-like dexterity.

For Relaxation

By day, there are several golf courses, coastal walks and woodland rambles for explorers of any ability. As night falls, lovebirds can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner alongside the toasty woodburner; or snuggle up under a blanket on the rocking chair outside to stargaze from the veranda. Lovebirds will be soothed to sleep by the lullaby of the sea outside the window after an active day spent exploring this beautiful corner of Cornwall.

There is off road parking for one car. In true back-to-basics style there is no washing machine, but there is a microwave, induction oven, dishwasher and Smeg fridge. Guests are kept cosy with the log burner and electric heating.
